If you live in the Southeast you’ve no doubt heard of a pizza place with a cult-like following called “Mellow Mushroom”. It turns out that what you thought was your local pizza joint is actually an Atlanta-based restaurant franchise with 80 plus locations scattered throughout the country, reaching as far West as Arizona. The trick is that each location is so amazingly localized and full of tremendous culture it always feels home grown.

MODE is excited to announce that we’ve been officially selected as the interactive partner to create the new Mellow Mushroom online experience. We’re honored to be collaborating with our new friends at Markham Unlimited in Miami, FL, who have been hard at work as Mellow Mushroom’s lead agency developing fantastic branding initiatives for the past year.

Keep a lookout for the new MellowMushroom.com and associated interactive campaigns in Summer of 2009.

…now if we can only convince them to re-open a location in Charlotte.
