Boom! Awards
Posted by Alex Westray | Awards & Recognition | Apr. 06, 2009Saturday was the date of the Boom! Gala and Exhibition at the Mint Museum here in Charlotte. The show is alternately hosted each year by the Charlotte and Raleigh AIGA chapters, and this year accepted over 500 entries from all over the Carolinas. We are proud to announce that Mode had 6 pieces selected of the 96 in the show, and ended up taking home three gold, one silver, one bronze, and one merit award! The calibre of work across all the entries was extremely high, so we are honored to have received these recognitions. More »
APOLLO Magazine: Andreas Bechtler, Giving My Art Away

The London-based magazine’s feature story looks at the Bechtler Family, the collection and The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art which the magazine refers to as “part of a new cultural centre driven by public-private leadership that could be a blueprint for cities around the world.”

Print Regional Design Annual 2008

QVC
Posted by mode. | Awards & Recognition, Identity Design | Oct. 20, 2008We’re very proud to announce the work we’ve produced for the recent QVC rebrand is being recognized here in the US and internationally. The QVC logo will be included in the WOLDA ‘08 International Design Annual. Produced by the Italian publisher Eulda Books, the annual includes submissions from 43 countries and recognizes excellence in international identity design.
The QVC logo has also been recognized amongst a list of identities, cars, and electronics as an example of one of the top “50 Stunning Examples of a redesign” by the fine folks over at FUNCTION.
